It was a fascinating week of cricket after a taking the much needed rest last week. Guys were rejuvenated to play few good games of cricket. Though due to last weeks miss, few had forgotten that the play was scheduled today while others turned away their promises. The minnows X1 were down by 0-1 after the first match, played some good cricket and beat the sharks 2-1 at the end to lift the SNCG Cup. Prasad, new MRF talent showed great promise with bowling and took away honors of the day for best debutant. while the old veteran Bond came back after year long suspension from cricket and played some good ground strokes to help the team in winning cause. Harish Jr was at his best throughout the match with bowling but batted exceptionally in the final encounter to seal the victory for minnows. For sharks, Deepak was at his fiery best with picking up wickets and mentoring the team, strategizing the plan along with field placing and other stuffs. Mohan & Praveen kannambadi were little inconsistent in their performances in batting and bowling respectively. Prashant in the first match was reasonable but later replacement Guru didn’t had much to contribute with bowl as he could bowl only single delivery in the entire series. The other mentors/Coach Nithya, Harish, star players Sudeep, Madhu, once in a month specialist Praveen, monthly visitor Srikant, Small ball specialist Venu, Vibrant Santosh were missing from the regular X1.

Minnows X1- Kiran UK(C), Harish Jr, Bond, Prasad
Match 1:
Minnows won the toss and elected to chase. Mohan and Prashant opened the innings for Sharks while I bowed the first over just for a change. Prasad bowled 2nd over and Mohan trying to hoik the ball couldn't clear long on and was caught in deep. Deepak and prashant were playing cautiously.. Harish bowled the 3rd over containing the runs. To increase the run rate Praveen was put into bat in 5th over but couldn't succeed in hitting big shot and lost his wicket. Deepak and prashant tried to bash but only managed to score only 17 runs in stipulated 6 overs.. Chasing the mere 18 runs of 6 over, Minnows started off well scoring runs at good rate. Bond and Harish opened the innings while Deepak started the bowling attack. they scored 3 runs in the first over. But the first strike was provided by removing the Bond caught at midwicket. I got the only four of the match to get the score to 8 of the 2 overs. But match turned upside down by a brilliant one handed dive to his left from Praveen kanambadi to get the price scalp of Harish. Deepak came back in the 3rd over to get my wicket. Prasad fought till end for minnows. The straight hit on the ground for 4 just went beside the demarcation line which could have made real difference in case if it had gone few inches o the left.. they required 9 of the last over. Prasad scored 4 of the first 2 balls to make the match interesting. They required 5 of 4 but a shot towards long on went straight into the hands to shatter the dreams of the minnows.
Match 2:
Sharks won the toss this time around and chose to bat first. Mohan and Praveen kanambadi opened the innings while I bowled the first over giving away a four in the final ball of the over. Good pull from Praveen enabled the sharks to open the account with a boundary.. But after that it was all minnows who bowled brilliantly to restrict sharks.. Prasad and Harish bowled 2 maiden overs restricting the sharks. score was 4 after 3 overs. they couldn't increase the run rate in the second half of the innings as well settling for a partly 10 runs. Chasing 11 to win from 6 overs, Prasad and bond started the inning while fiery Deepak started off the bowling. Deepak’s delivery went through the defenses of Prasad to shatter the stumps. Deepak had found the new found pace coming round the stumps. but Bond played well at the other end and I joined in and slowly we were on to the target. But while we required only 1 run bond got out to Deepak but Harish scored a single to get the winning runs in the 3rd over of the match. Minnows were delighted to level series 1-1 with some competitive cricket and boosted the confidence with a big win.
Match 3:
Once again Sharks won the toss and elected to bat first. and this time around determined pair of Deepak and Praveen opened the attack while I started off the blowing attack. This time around sharks went for rotating the strike and steadily made the progress. They were scoring slowly but steadily to progress well and had scored 21 in 5 overs getting few boundaries away in the mean time. But a final over from Harish was a treat to watch as he shattered the timber twice in the over and bowled a maiden over to keep the target to 22 for minnows.. Bond and Harish started the innings for minnows while Deepak with his grit and determination came to bowl. He took bond and would have nearly had Harish when an edge but was dropped by keeper. Deepak was furious and was all over the park as he couldn’t digest the same.. In the mean time Praveen couldn't get his line and length right and Harish took the complete advantage of this over scoring two fours and a six over square leg of 3 consecutive deliveries to draw the score. The score was 21 after 4 overs. Guru came to bowl with one run needed and a single delivery was enough to finish the match on the winning note to clinch the series 2-1.
Talking in the post match presentation , Deepak felt that the fielding was a let off. But those who missed the game today have missed action once for all as the regular video-grapher was missing today to shoot the action.. So Don't be unlucky again.. so Be ready and be present at SNCG next week on time every time..

It was Nithyotsava at SNCG
It was overcast condition at 7:15 AM at SNCG.and PRaveen was waiting for the battalion to come.. He kept calling people whether we are really playing. And It is natural that he has forgotten that our heroes come to pitch only by 8 as he was absconding since few months..
and Match began at 8:00 when it became sunny also heating up the competition. both teams played some good competitive cricket but Nithya's X1 won the series on records 2-1. New kid on the block "Mohan" bagged the "Talented newcomer" Award. and "Utappa" got the "Best entertainer" awards.
Nithya's X1- Nithya (C), Prashant, Deepak, Praveen, Venu, Mohan (with joker boy in 2n and 3rd match)
Harish X1- Harish(C), Sudeep, Santosh, Uthappa, Guru, Myself with joker boy ( in team in 1st match while joker in 2nd and 3rd)
Match 1:
Fresh new ball was taken on a sunny morning, but still the ball was doing a bit. Harish X1 won the toss and elected to bat first. Myself with our dependent opener Sudeep, Sudeep was in flamboyant mood and wacked the first ball from nithya towards long on. As the ball was new it didn't carried over as expected and a catch was available for grab. But Venu was thinking of "Nayan*tara gave life to sudeep.Then slowly they continued and 2nd over was given to the new kid "MOhan" Sudeep welcomed him with a boundary but I gave away my wicket to him. Harish came to study the ship. But Deepak, nithya prashant were controlling well but Praveen came as a surprise package picking 2 wickets in the 5th over to reduce the game and harish X1 were bundled out for 19 in 6 overs. Harish played a captains innings bowling a fierce maiden first over picking Venu. But Lithia & PRashant studied the ship and slowly moved towards victory and completed the victory without much hiccups.
Match 2:
Nithyas X1 won the toss and elected to bat thinking to utilize the used ball which was going around the park nicely..Sudeep to everyones surprise took th ball and bowled a brillant maiden over with praveen got run out from our joker keeper. Harish bowled with the same aggression and kept things under control. It was innings of run out as run outs started to unfold. and PRashant became new "Inzamum" for the team.. while Uthappa was the star in getting these run outs. Nithya got out trying to hit the ball out of park gave a catch at deep midwicket after missing couple of balls. While deepak, Mohan and venu were bali ka bakras.. mean time frustrated prashant broke the bat (without damaging anyone) and got bowled. Chasing a modest target of 14, Harish X1 opened with utappa and santosh. Santosh was in a hurry to get out as he had a call with namithadevi, without taking much risk he got out followed by a brilliant catch from venu ended uthappas innings. He had just come out of the day-dreaming. But senior veterans sudeep and harish slowly got the innings together and completed the well deserved victory with Praveen trying 4 full tosses in succession to complete the match..
Match 3:
Nithyas X1 won the toss again and match was reduced to 6 overs. and Nithya and venu opened the innings. Sudeep took nithya while harish took venu in the first 2 overs. Then Prashant and Deepak studied the ship. both getting boundaries to each to push the score rate. But this time the new Inzamam alias prashant got run out. Which pegged back the run rate. Harish bowled with fire. to get the last man joker in to the crease in 5th over. Deepak played sensibly wit the new falme-boyant boy to get the target to 23. Harish X1 started aggressively with 3 of the first 2 balls with me and utappa openings the innings. mis-communication led to a wicket of utappa and Sudeep came to the crease. Mohan bowled a yorker first up to get the ueep for golden duck. Harish joined me and a good partnership started to flourish. The score was 14 after 3 overs with just 9 required of the last over. But turning over came when nithya came darting ball to the base of the stumps with his round arm action took all important wicket of harish. Then deepak took a wicket while I was trying to hit a short of length delivery to get out caught by Mohan. Soon santosh again was in a hurry dreaming off namitha got bowled off nithya. joker survived 2 balls and 8 was required off the last over. Mohan bowled another yorker and guru had to go for biggie and couldn't connect and got bowled Nithyas X1 won match by 7 runs and series 2-1.

Sports was victorious in the end.....
It was a cool day at SNCG on a breezy Saturday morning. SO most of the team couldn't get up on time and be there for practice session.. and I had to wait 40 mins to get the first person (Apart from from me of course) to field in the form of MR "Pradeep" and slowly but steadily people started joining in and started practice session. mean whIle i watched few fascinating game of cricket in the side pitches..Sudeep and Harish Jr couldn't leave their bed as well as switch on their mobile and hence couldn't join. Madhu who ha taken rest by taking leave on Friday for his official work too came in late preparing for this all important contest. But for the disappointment of few we couldn't had all important series of mentors vs. caps. So the teams were made with mix & match with the available player and played an 2 good games of cricket. and Only thing I can say today is CRICKET WAS THE WINNER ALL THE WAY....

Match 1 :
Pace X1 won the toss and elected to bat with JP and Madhu opened the innings while srikant opened the attack. JP was trying to slog every ball . but one got connected and went for 4. Inspired by this Even madhu tried in the next over hit the ball out of park but it went straight to srikant who doesn't miss any held the catch comfortably. All the efforts put forth the previous day was wasted.. Nithya, was in a hurry and couldn't control his emotions and trying it the ball out of the ground top edged to get out caught and bowled. Deepak came to the crease and steadied the ship by playing conciously along with JP. After 6 th over prashan came over to bat in place of JP to increase the run rate. succeeded in getting 10 runs in the 7th over getting to a healthy run rate. I had the opportunity to bowl the last over and bowled 2 lolly pops to get 2 wickets with pace X1 were all out but had set a healthy target of 32 of 8 overs.But it was disaster for spin X1 when they opened the innings that their innings never got going.. Venu and HArish opened the innings followed by pradeep, myself and srikanth. Madhu was a surprise package picking wickets with his off-spin
Match 2:
Spin X1 won the toss and elected to bat first and batted effectively by holding the wickets. Meanwhile they took 10 runs from the last matches hero. While rest of the pace trio of deepak, nithya and prashant bowled with pace , precision and accuracy to complete the innings.. Mean time Harish got a urgent call and spin X1 were now with one bowler short. But "Venu" came to the party by rotating his arm and getting crucial wicket of madhu. while pradeep took wicket of nithya. But prashant and JP without taking any more risk played natural cricket.Prashant finished the innings with style by hitting 6 over long on..
Now there is a new hope of new teams being formed and new cricket being played at SNCG as few senior pros might be moving out going forward.. also next there might not be cricket at SNCG as there would be official duty for most of the players on account on of "bharat Bandh" on 5th July. on account of the same Wipro applied thought and compensated on 10th July and we had to work instead of play .IN the mean time I hope you enjoyed the few fascinating games of football in this World cup. So lets just sink in with the World cup..

captains take their vengeance on mentors.....
In another week of thrilling cricket, spectators saw the mentors bow down to their captains in a 3 match series. Though mentors started brilliantly and were on top in the first match and won comprehensively in the first match. Moment came where mentor were trying to get back to their comfort zone of different teams but in vain.. Taking the challenge captains team raised their level of the game thrashed the mentors X1 in the next 2 games. though the mentors Again went in with change in rules Discarding the sidelines rule(introduced last week), it didn't help them in their cause to win a the series of cricket. Last game was turned to a 6 over affair with no weak link in bowling still couldn't snatch a win neither could win the series...

It all started on a fine sunny Saturday morning (26th June) with only nithya,venu,pradeep and myself turning to field at exact time 7:30.. so obliviously we had a great game warm up match. Venu along with nithya scored 16 of 3 overs. chasing 17 of 3, pradeep and team lost by 2 runs..
Same time all the big guns joined the field missing all important training/practice match which has been a fashion these days in India..
Match 1:
After all permutation and combination teams were set up as discussed earlier. The match began at 8:00. Mentors won the toss and elected to bat. The ever controversial madhu along with talented Venu opened the innings for Mentors X1 and the fast an furious Srikanth opened the attack for the caps X1. The mentors moved the score slowly and steadily. New talent was born today SNCG once again in the form of Santosh, New MFF Pace foundation who bowled brilliantly keeping the mentors guessing. At one stage they were 24 of 6 overs. But suddenly few lapses in the field cost dearly for Caps X1. Taking full advantage madhu, JP hit few lusty blows and took the score to staggering 42. Chasing 43 of 8 overs, Caps X1 were not upto the standards with losing wickets quickly . both their big hitters Sudeep and pradeep fell in cheaply and The experienced pace trio of Deepak, harish and nithya did the job for mentors.Harish(JR)hit huge 6 and kept the caps in hunt but trying to repeat the same once again couldn't clear the fence owards long on with nithya taking a fine catch to end the cameo, Praveen tried his best on one side to keep the innings together along with ticking the score but it was too much left at the end with no wickets left at the end. Srikanth hit a few lusty blows but couldn't continue for long with increasing pressure. Caps were completely outplayed by the mentors. They coulsn't utilise the an over which had be bolwed by their opponents weeklink. while mentors had played their card perfectly to win comprehensively.
Talking in the post match presentation after the match, the mentors were trying to shuffle the teams to have some competition thinking they were invincible. Sudeep took up the challenge of one more match if caps can't deliver then there would be reshuffling...
Match 2:
It was do or die match for caps and again as they had to win this match to stay in the series as well as to keep their side in tact. they lost the all important toss and put to bowl.JP and madhu this time around took the mantle of opening the innings for mentors. The dependable trio of srikanth, Harish jr, santosh controlled extremely well to restrict the mentors to 31. Deepak, The Senior dependable campaigner for mentors took charge and ran well between the wickets and picked the gaps to get the team to a decent total. Chasing a 32, Caps opened the innings with Sudeep and praveen. Variation specialist Deepak opened the bowling for mentors which turned out to be eventful over of the match. catch was dropped early in the over. But sudeep suddenly took up the charge hitting 6 which was on the boundary lines and harish tried taking the catch but was touching the fence. As its not perth, it was taken 6. and deepak lost his control. Sudeep trying repeat the same shot fell with harish taking a comfortable catch. deepak seemed relieved man. The score of 8 gave good impetus to the caps X1. while mentors thought that match was over after taking the danger man sudeep out. but it was captains knock from pradeep who rotated strike well with Praveen who was anchored the innings till the end. Though pradeep got run out amidst. and nithya got harish jr with a beauty of delivery though after discussions about side line. it didn't hurt the caps innings and they cruised to victory with still one over left. The pace trio had finished their quota of overs and were left with one over to be given between madhu and JP. The successful strategy which worked for them in the first match had got them to drown this time around. I had the honour of closing the match by striking 4 to complete the victory along with the man on mission Praveen, who batted till the end in the successful run chase leading the team to victory.
Talking in the post match presentation nithya/ harish felt they found wanted with fourth bowler option and final match which was supposed to be a 6 overs affair is the real test of character" there were also rumours that a win was lucky.. reacting to the same caps felt that they had played according to the plan and executed it the plan to perfection. they also pin pointed that the fourth bowling options wasn't completely utilised by the mentors. and its a big boost as to win a match without the requirement of attacking their weak link and felt confident before the last match.
Match 3:
Both teams were happy going to the final match as there was no requirement weak/all rounders/ part time bowler to be bowled as the match had reduced to 6 overs affair, but caps last match's main stay Praveen was unavaiable due to some personal reasons.. There were also rumors in vidyapeeta circle that mentors influence had done the trick in getting him unavailable for the match.
Mentors once again won the toss and elected to bat first. This time around Harish and nithya opened the innings and also Mentors had planned to give no chance in the match with both JP and Venu were kept to slog at the end and the formidable 4 to build the innings early in the match. As usual srikanth initiated the match with fast and furious deliveries in the first over. nithya got a lusty blow for 6 and few good hits from Deepak got them going. Harish jr bowled a Yorker of the series to get rid of in form Madhu. But it was JP who hit few excellent shots in the end to get the score to 30 of 6 overs. Caps required 31 of 6 overs in all important final game started with sudeep and pradeep. Harish opening the bowling attack for mentors got the first major break through sneaking through pradeeps defences to hit the timber.Harish jr joined sudeep and blasted a 6 of a short delivery which went miles. but harish sr took his revenge by taking harish jr caught behind. Then I joined sudeep and we consolidated the innings. Once sudeep started connecting the ball it was just a matter of time to close the game. in the mean time I got out holing out to Deepak of harish sr. Santosh joined sudeep requiring 11. Santosh rotated the strike well along with sudeep who was now seeing the tennis ball like foot ball. Sudeep hit 2 boundaries off nithya and finished the match in 5th over.they finished match with once again with an over to spare without any respite provided.
Caps X1 won the Series 2-1 over mentors X1. They just proved mentors that it is a team to recon with. now it needs to be seen how would they come back next week to take revenge. But there might be few members leaving the team for better carreer by next week.. All the best guys..

The mentors moved the score slowly and steadily. New talent was born today SNCG once again in the form of Santosh, New MFF Pace foundation who bowled brilliantly keeping the mentors guessing. At one stage they were 24 of 6 overs. But suddenly few lapses in the field cost dearly for Caps X1. Taking full advantage madhu, JP hit few lusty blows and took the score to staggering 42. Chasing 43 of 8 overs, Caps X1 were not upto the standards with losing wickets quickly . both their big hitters Sudeep and pradeep fell in cheaply and The experienced pace trio of Deepak, harish and nithya did the job for mentors.Harish(JR)hit huge 6 and kept the caps in hunt but trying to repeat the same once again couldn't clear the fence owards long on with nithya taking a fine catch to end the cameo, Praveen tried his best on one side to keep the innings together along with ticking the score but it was too much left at the end with no wickets left at the end. Srikanth hit a few lusty blows but couldn't continue for long with increasing pressure. Caps were completely outplayed by the mentors. They coulsn't utilise the an over which had be bolwed by their opponents weeklink. while mentors had played their card perfectly to win comprehensively.
Talking in the post match presentation after the match, the mentors were trying to shuffle the teams to have some competition thinking they were invincible. Sudeep took up the challenge of one more match if caps can't deliver then there would be reshuffling...
Match 2:
It was do or die match for caps and again as they had to win this match to stay in the series as well as to keep their side in tact. they lost the all important toss and put to bowl.JP and madhu this time around took the mantle of opening the innings for mentors. The dependable trio of srikanth, Harish jr, santosh controlled extremely well to restrict the mentors to 31. Deepak, The Senior dependable campaigner for mentors took charge and ran well between the wickets and picked the gaps to get the team to a decent total. Chasing a 32, Caps opened the innings with Sudeep and praveen. Variation specialist Deepak opened the bowling for mentors which turned out to be eventful over of the match. catch was dropped early in the over. But sudeep suddenly took up the charge hitting 6 which was on the boundary lines and harish tried taking the catch but was touching the fence. As its not perth, it was taken 6. and deepak lost his control. Sudeep trying repeat the same shot fell with harish taking a comfortable catch. deepak seemed relieved man. The score of 8 gave good impetus to the caps X1. while mentors thought that match was over after taking the danger man sudeep out. but it was captains knock from pradeep who rotated strike well with Praveen who was anchored the innings till the end. Though pradeep got run out amidst. and nithya got harish jr with a beauty of delivery though after discussions about side line. it didn't hurt the caps innings and they cruised to victory with still one over left. The pace trio had finished their quota of overs and were left with one over to be given between madhu and JP. The successful strategy which worked for them in the first match had got them to drown this time around. I had the honour of closing the match by striking 4 to complete the victory along with the man on mission Praveen, who batted till the end in the successful run chase leading the team to victory.
Talking in the post match presentation nithya/ harish felt they found wanted with fourth bowler option and final match which was supposed to be a 6 overs affair is the real test of character" there were also rumours that a win was lucky.. reacting to the same caps felt that they had played according to the plan and executed it the plan to perfection. they also pin pointed that the fourth bowling options wasn't completely utilised by the mentors. and its a big boost as to win a match without the requirement of attacking their weak link and felt confident before the last match.
Match 3:
Both teams were happy going to the final match as there was no requirement weak/all rounders/ part time bowler to be bowled as the match had reduced to 6 overs affair, but caps last match's main stay Praveen was unavaiable due to some personal reasons.. There were also rumors in vidyapeeta circle that mentors influence had done the trick in getting him unavailable for the match.
Mentors once again won the toss and elected to bat first. This time around Harish and nithya opened the innings and also Mentors had planned to give no chance in the match with both JP and Venu were kept to slog at the end and the formidable 4 to build the innings early in the match. As usual srikanth initiated the match with fast and furious deliveries in the first over. nithya got a lusty blow for 6 and few good hits from Deepak got them going. Harish jr bowled a Yorker of the series to get rid of in form Madhu. But it was JP who hit few excellent shots in the end to get the score to 30 of 6 overs. Caps required 31 of 6 overs in all important final game started with sudeep and pradeep. Harish opening the bowling attack for mentors got the first major break through sneaking through pradeeps defences to hit the timber.Harish jr joined sudeep and blasted a 6 of a short delivery which went miles. but harish sr took his revenge by taking harish jr caught behind. Then I joined sudeep and we consolidated the innings. Once sudeep started connecting the ball it was just a matter of time to close the game. in the mean time I got out holing out to Deepak of harish sr. Santosh joined sudeep requiring 11. Santosh rotated the strike well along with sudeep who was now seeing the tennis ball like foot ball. Sudeep hit 2 boundaries off nithya and finished the match in 5th over.they finished match with once again with an over to spare without any respite provided.
Caps X1 won the Series 2-1 over mentors X1. They just proved mentors that it is a team to recon with. now it needs to be seen how would they come back next week to take revenge. But there might be few members leaving the team for better carreer by next week.. All the best guys..

A befitting adios to the Departing captain at SNCG on 12th Jun 2010
It was nail biting series which twisted and turned every over. But Eventually it was the Swamis renamed themselves as Karnataka Cric club (KCC), came up with brilliant show at the end to win the game by one run in turn holding the series 2-1 in their favour. each team were drawn at a 1-1 at the end of 2 matches and the last match was just like a final. Just before the start of the 3rd match created few heated discussions on the side line in the bowling crease between Deepak and nithya resulted in box being placed. In the mean time another dishum dishum happened between Pradeep and Deepak. Inspiring nithya to bowl one of his best bowling spells while Pradeep (Alias gan-gooli so far) suddenly became a live wire in the field, as if hez competing with "Jounty". While Deepak losing his concentration with these discussions couldn't concentrate on the deliveries and got himself under tremendous pressure and couldn't deliver his best.

Match 1:RCB won the toss and elected to bat on the overcast conditions. MAdhu and Prashant opened the innings. MAdhu kept the one end up and kept rotating the strike. Deepak joined Madhu with team struggling at 8/2 after 3 over [with Srikant, their tear away fast bowler going with full swing]. before which mehandi boy had smashed a 4 of the first ball and got out the immediate next ball. They both steadied the innings. But the much required impetus was given at the end by Harish jr by some swashbuckling hits getting the score to 38. Required to get 39 of 8 overs, KCC lost their captain in the first over itself, Sudeep along with harish tried to consolidate the innings but the required run rate kept mounting. Amidst harish got stumped (????) but some confusions were created and it just continued. Once sudeep got out they kept losing wickets at regular intervals. They required 13 runs in 2 overs with harish and nithya in crease. But penultimate over from harish jr. fetched 6 runs but took up an all important wicket. KCC required 7 of the last over with one wicket in hand. They buckled under pressure and ran for a non-existing single of the first delivery and Srikant got run-out ending their innings with RCB winning the match.
Match 2:RCB again won the toss and elected to bat, But this time around they couldn't get going and struggled to rotate the strike. Madhu Got out early and Anil (new talented kid on the block) was getting accustomed to the pitch and playing conditions & meandi boy couldn't connect much balls trying hit the balls out of park. KCC utilised this to their advantage well. Deepak went in to field and it was his one of the luckiest days. It was looking like he was just trying to get out by giving catches to each and very member of the KCC but everyone obliged with dropping the catches making sure he is there till the end of match. But the run rate never picked up and were struggling at 16 after 7 overs. But Deepak came to terms in the last over getting boundary away scoring 8 runs of the last over setting 25 runs to win. Chasing this small total they KCC made merry, though they lost 2 wickets in an over (hehe I got those wickets by bowling lollypops...) there was nothing left for RCB to work on. KCC won
convincingly levelling the series 1-1.
Match 3:KCC won the toss this time around and elected to bat. Even this time Madhu tried leaving the field for the 3 rd match based on call, But somehow managed to stay back until closure. In the mean time deepak came up with 2 earlier issues and presented two rules, first being both batters need to leave the crease before fielder throws the ball while second is creation of box to prevent bowlers from bowling outside the sidelines. This created (kasi-visi) in the nithyas mind. RCB bowled with discipline and 3 man pace attack from prashant, harish and deepak strangling the KCC for runs, they scored 13 of the stipulated 6 overs. Chasing a modest 14 runs of 6 overs, RCB started well with 2 being scored of initial over from srikanth (fiery fast bowler) without taking any risk. The second over was the turning point of the match, after losing a wicket to runout(Smart work from ajay), the next ball batsmen came down the track to hit the ball out of the park but nithya fired a full toss on the face of the batsmen. And fight started between Deepak and nithya on whether it was no ball or not. This stirred up both Nithya and Deepak. Harish batting well at the other end scored a boundary and got the score to 9 of 3 overs.requiring 5 of last 3 overs RCB had the match on third hand, mean time suddenly discussion between Deepak and pradeep create smoke which resulted in pradeep becoming live wire in the field. Deepak losing his temper, couldn't concentrate on Batting. In the mean time came to bowl the 4th over of inning Nithya, came up with a brilliant maiden over picking up deepak on the last delivery of the over. This created havoc in the RCB. Prashant joined
Harish with RCB needing 5 of 2 overs now. Harish took a single, But Srikant , KCC's most trusted and pace battery made sure no further runs were given making sure 4 required of last over. The pressure now had already getting mounted on RCB's. resulting in a silly run out of prashant. required 2 of the last ball , harish sr, one of their most experinced campaigner of the KCC, bowled intelligently keeping the ball our side the offstump and held his nerve to clinch a victroy to his team.
As a team is going over to trip next week, there won't be cricket next week .It would be good to see who would be replacing their captaincy from "pradeep" .. Pradeep is moving to better opportunity in uk in different business as now he has understood that he is unable to cope up the pressure of capataincy in KCC.So I suppose its now time to say to pradeep (And even Deepak solanki- Retired member of SNCG) from your team as well as from opposition. "All the best for future endeavours".

At Last Swamis broke their jinx of losing series after series when they beat the RCB X1 in nail baiting final match to win the series 2-1.This was highly required for the SNCG cup, as
RCB-X1 were convincing winners usually at this venue and the spectators & contract players were diminishing
slowly.. It was high spirited tournament today with both teams played some high quality cricket along with few quality fights(Dishum-dishums) both with in the teams as well as with
opponents..Madhu was centre of attraction for the fight once more with initially for a RUN OUT claim while later for leaving the field in lieu of his dating with deepika kaif after
completing his batting amidst the last match. There is also rumours floating around in vidyapeet circle that he got out early in the crucial final tie for a match fixing with Swamis fixing Deepika kaif for a dating. Overall statisticians feel it was a welcome change and is good for cricket at SNCG. Else slowly due to matches being one sided, it was creating a risk in the minds of the fans that the cup might be called off
slowly. But the well fought series brought a glitter in the eyes of fans so that they can eagerly wait for the next series...
OOPS forgot to mention about the prim nary Patrice match,To improve swamis team's performance before the series, It was requested and was asked to give them a practice match, as the stars of the RCB hadn't come yet, myself had to help them in getting the
much required practice before the series. amidst one of the RCB starts ajay came along and joined the session.. Where mentor Nithya was all over captain Pradeep and beat them by 10 runs with venu contributing significantly for their overall target of 24..
Match summary:Again after the selection of playing teams swamis again had issues with their attack and requested few replacements. RCB obliged for the same with the changes to make the competiton more competitive...though it was spirited at he end. Now it seems there is few eye brows raised for captaincy as Pradeep is under tremendous pressure to keep his role n the stiff competition in he team.

required variation with spinning option.for Swamis Sudeep held the innings together with harish & venu contributing well to get the respectable score.Sudeep scored the first six of the
day. chasing a decent total RCB faltered initially by losing 2 quick wickets but madhu and deepak held the innings together and tried to steer the innings together but swamis did well to
peg back the run rate with good bowling led by srikanth ,harish and nithya, and at one stage RCB X1 was 8 after 4 overs and 12 after 5 overs. They failed to rotate strike and It required the
4th bowler in the form of pradeep for RCB to get going. it was an eventful over with madhu getting few boundaries away but pradeep got the all important break through in the form of

Swamis again winning toss elected bat but were bundled out for partly 14, with Harish Jr picking 3 wickets in an over changed the direction of the match.
Deepak, Ajay and Prashant gave the required support at the other end to finish up the innings. and Swamis decided to voluntarily declare the match and start the next Match and toss was also
made for the third match which RCB even won and elected to bat. but suddenly the Swamis think tank thought otherwise. giving away a match without even bowling would provide a bad impact to
their sponsorship as well as the team would become soft target in the media. So they decided to bowl it was just a formality and SAntosh opened the attack but couldn't do much as the target was
too less to defend. RCB won the match with in 3 overs with balappa being the highlight of the Run chase.
Match 3:The RCB won the all important toss in the final match and elected to bat. They scored well slowly but steadily. Even though they kept losing the wickets they kept scoring the runs steadily.Balappa was the first get out. and Madhu came to the crease. the much awaited dating offer came along at the same time from Deepika kaif to madhu and he couldn't resist the offer and got out
immediately and left the playing area with in few seconds. and suddenly there was confusions all around for some time on the replacement. Mean Time Guru replaced his place and the match
continued. Prashant initially and later Harish jr provided the much required impetus to set a respectable target of 40.A boundary from prahsnat had initiated a agitations between their coach and mentor on
the few field settings. Harish jr Got a huge six on the leg side and got out trying to repeat the same feat once again. Chasing a decent target, Swamis got off to a flier with pradeep and
venu going great guns. Though they had lady luck laughing on them on few ovations which frustrated the Deepak.Harish was pick of the bowlers with 2 brilliant overs. Deepak was a relived man when Pradeep
got out with he himself taking his catch. Prashant went for few (including 6) first over came back strongly bowling a the first maiden over of the day at the all important time bowling the 6th over of the innings. Making sure the required run rate is over 6 per over for opponents. The Swamis required 13 of the last 2 overs. also a few discussions happened when a shot from sudeep was in place of run or no-run Zone. But
finally it was decided not to take runs for the same. The Penultimate over was bowled by deepak and a hit went for a four which tilted the game in Swamis favour but mean time run out
nithya made it interesting. the final over required 5 of the last over and their senior member Guru took over the responsibility of handling the pressure. Swamis kept their nerve and played sensibly to get the 5 of the over and win the series 2-1.
In post match conference, RCB came out with few pointers on their loss to swamis. but the end it was decided that it was one of those days where swamis put forth their best efforts. The
light refreshment of sweet lime juice was served at the end of series and few of the players missed the same.
So it should be an interesting series next week when these two teams meet again as at last some completion is seen and fans are excited about the same.. The Cheerleader was missed in the
game who was absent today. and was not available for comment.

continued. Prashant initially and later Harish jr provided the much required impetus to set a respectable target of 40.A boundary from prahsnat had initiated a agitations between their coach and mentor on
the few field settings. Harish jr Got a huge six on the leg side and got out trying to repeat the same feat once again. Chasing a decent target, Swamis got off to a flier with pradeep and
venu going great guns. Though they had lady luck laughing on them on few ovations which frustrated the Deepak.Harish was pick of the bowlers with 2 brilliant overs. Deepak was a relived man when Pradeep
got out with he himself taking his catch. Prashant went for few (including 6) first over came back strongly bowling a the first maiden over of the day at the all important time bowling the 6th over of the innings. Making sure the required run rate is over 6 per over for opponents. The Swamis required 13 of the last 2 overs. also a few discussions happened when a shot from sudeep was in place of run or no-run Zone. But
finally it was decided not to take runs for the same. The Penultimate over was bowled by deepak and a hit went for a four which tilted the game in Swamis favour but mean time run out
nithya made it interesting. the final over required 5 of the last over and their senior member Guru took over the responsibility of handling the pressure. Swamis kept their nerve and played sensibly to get the 5 of the over and win the series 2-1.
In post match conference, RCB came out with few pointers on their loss to swamis. but the end it was decided that it was one of those days where swamis put forth their best efforts. The
light refreshment of sweet lime juice was served at the end of series and few of the players missed the same.
So it should be an interesting series next week when these two teams meet again as at last some completion is seen and fans are excited about the same.. The Cheerleader was missed in the
game who was absent today. and was not available for comment.
